I am quite an old fashioned person and I decided that I would like to have a home birth. I also asked my husband if he would help out by giving me a labor massage when the time came. He happily agreed and he was the one who went and researched on his computer for information on how to do a labor massage and what to use - I am not very good about working on computers.

I had an epidural during giving birth to my twins boys. I was hoping to have a labor massage. But I could not because I was lying in bed. I could not even feel my feet.

So my husband used your labor massage oil to give me a hand massage. It was very soothing. The midwife told him to stroke each hand in turn, first on the back of the hand and then on the palm of the hand from the wrist to the fingertips. He even made small circles all over the palm and then pulled each finger in turn (but not too hard) to release any tension.

I have to say again how soothing it was. It helped me a lot as it was quite stressful giving birth to twins and worrying about them. But they were both ok and are now a month old. I don’t have much time but I just had to tell you about my experience.

My husband was so kind when I was in labor - he kept rubbing my back for hours and hours! Well it seemed like hours and hours. But he had plenty of your Labor Massage oil left over even though he went on so long.

When it was getting close to the end he used the heel of his hand to massage over the base of my spine. He needed to apply quite a lot of pressure because of my strong contractions.

I would say to all my friends when they are having a baby that they must also get their husbands to rub and massage their back. It is a big help.

When my baby was overdue and I just could not wait any longer, I decided to get a massage therapist to come round to my home to give me a labour massage. I had already ordered a bottle of your Labor Massage ready for a genuine massage but now I was going to try and use this technique to actually induce contractions.

Although everyone says there is no guarantee, a massage does help you to relax and so from what I had read, it was possible it could bring on contractions. Well I thought it certainly could not do any harm to try.

So I had my massage during the morning when I was 10 days overdue and do you know that very afternoon I went into labour. I then had to get the massage therapist to come back again to give me another labour massage!

I found both massages to be very beneficial and would thoroughly recommend them to all expectant mums.
