Pregnant Women Who Get Hemorrhoids

Women who are pregnant are a lot more prone to getting hemorrhoids even if they have never had hemorhoids before. Hemroids are caused by swollen varicose veins, when these veins become swollen a hemorrhoid is formed. Constipation in pregnant women can make the veins swell causing hemorrhoids. Women who get hemorrhoids during pregnancy will usually notice the hemorrhoids appearing toward the end of the third trimester as there is more strain on the veins in the anal and uterus area.
