Venereal warts can be caused by a strain of the human
papillomavirus which causes warts to appear on the
body. These warts can sometimes not be seen by eye
and need to be examined by a doctor. Most cases of
venereal wart infections happen when the skin touches
an area infected with the warts. The warts are also
commonly passed through unprotected sexual intercourse.
About 75% of those who engage in sexual activity
with a person infected with the HPV virus can get
venereal warts. These sexual encounters include touching
an area infected with venereal warts, having vaginal
anal or oral sex with someone.
Those who engage in unprotected sex, anyone have many frequent partners or not having new partners tested. Many contract this disease through not being responsible. Strangely enough smoking tobacco can cause the HPV virus in the body to react and cause venereal warts to appear. Drinking frequently can also be a cause not sexually related to venereal wart infections coming about. Those with AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases combined are at a higher risk for contracting or having venereal warts appear on the genitals.
If people with young children see that they have venereal warts, it is a true possibility that the child has been sexually molested as the HPV virus should not appear in children so young. Consult a doctor if children have venereal warts or any other STD that can be contracted through sexual contact. Those who have kids can pass the warts on. Causes of venereal warts in children can be attributed to parents. If a mother is infected and gives birth the child will have the warts in the throat, these cannot be treated without a doctor. It is important as a parent to ensure there is no chance that the HPV virus could have been contracted as it will cause warts to appear in babies.
Conclusion
There is no cure
for genital warts and those who have them need
to be careful as not to pass them onto new sexual
partners. If one has the HPV virus it would be wise
not to smoke or drink as the virus can be triggered
into venereal warts if the strain is present. Make
sure to get tested often is there are multiple sexual
partners involved in daily life as many people contact
this disease.
Sexual transmission is the number one cause for venereal warts in young teens and adults. Sexual molestation can be a reason for young children to have venereal warts. Have a physician examine children with venereal warts as they may be in danger. As long as the body is protected and safe venereal warts are much less likely to appear.
