There are many treatments available to get rid of
warts. These range from over the counter treatments,
which can be in the form of a cream, patches to put
on warts to attempt to draw them out, and many other
types. There are also similar treatments which are
prescribed by doctors or dermatologists to get rid
of warts.
Most of these treatments involve the freezing of the warts (cryotherapy) which is meant to freeze the wart and its root and allow it to fall off. The other technique used in these forms of treatment is to use an acid based product which is designed to literally burn the wart and its root away. Other forms of eliminating warts include surgical removal and cryotherapy done by a doctor or dermatologist. But what actually works?
Unfortunately, none of the methods guarantee complete removal of the wart and in most cases, the warts will simply grow back after they have been removed. Allot of these treatments can also be painful and leave scarring. In fact, even having warts cut out or surgically removed by leading plastic surgeons can still leave scarring. This is because it is impossible to remove a wart entirely unless a huge chunk of the skin is removed.
What is the process involved with wart treatment?
Warts have an extensive root structure. There are also many different strains of the wart virus and for this reason, warts come in all different shapes and sizes, Each root structure is unique. If a fragment of the root remains under the skin after treatment using cryotherapy, surgical removal or other topical treatments, it can simply re-root itself and begin to grow again.
Warts which appear to have been completely eliminated may simply grow back again within a few days, weeks or months. This is especially common with plantar warts under the feet, as they tend to be very large and therefore have a very extensive root structure. Many people spend hundreds of dollars on treatments which only temporarily work and unfortunately need to be repeated frequently in order to keep the warts at bay.
A good indication of a treatment which is unlikely to eliminate an entire wart, including the whole root structure, is the speed in which the treatment works.
If a treatment claims to get rid of a wart extremely quickly, this is an indicator of a treatment which will probably not get rid of the wart completely and the chances of the wart growing back are high.
How are warts eliminated completely?
The only way to effectively remove a wart, so that you are guaranteed it will never grow back is to actually draw the wart out, naturally from the root upwards. This can take 2-6 weeks, but with the right herbal product, with a good track record, any wart eliminated will be completely drawn to the surface. There will be nothing left under the skin to enable the wart to re-root itself, therefore ensuring that the wart will never grow back.
