Here are the ingredients

1 Tbsp Turmeric

Turmeric or curcumin is probably the number 1 spice for fighting inflammation. Not only a powerful and natural anti-inflammatory, modern research is now finding an astonishing array of antioxidant, anti-cancer, antibiotic, antiviral and other properties. Turmeric is recommended as a cancer fighter for all types when used in high doses but absorption is complicated so your own research would be necessary. Choose a pure turmeric powder, rather than a curry powder.

1 Tbsp Ginger

Ginger is another spice, and a cousin of turmeric. Great for being anti-inflammatory but also used for counteracting the cold and relieving motion and morning sickness. Made into a tea, ginger will treat a whole range of health issues.

1/2-1 tsp Cayenne

Cayenne pepper has been used for medicinal purposes for the past 9 000 years! 5 Tbsp Lemon Juice (from organic lemons)

Of course everyone knows about lemon and vitamin C which together with flavonoids work to prevent infection. In addition, lemons contain citric acid, B-complex vitamins, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and fiber while the vitamin C found in lemons helps to neutralize those free radicals that have been linked to aging and most types of disease. In addition, Vitamin C helps to boost the immune system while also assisting in the production of collagen which fights wrinkles by keeping the skin firm. This incredible vitamin helps the body absorb calcium and iron and has also been shown to reduce acne flare-ups.

32 oz pure filtered warm water

Preparation

1. Bring 32 ounces of water to the boil, and put to one side to cool down.

2. Add the spices and lemon juice to a container large enough to hold 32 ounces of water. Add the warm water and give the contents a good stir. Every time you drink some, make sure you give it another stir. You can safely add additional hot water if it starts to get too cool. Some stevia will sweeten the drink if necessary.
