Natural Solution for Scars

H-Scars Formula

What are scars?

Scars are very much part of the body's natural healing process - and most wounds will produce some degree of scarring.

They are a result of the biological process of wound repair in the skin - as well as other tissues - and from when the dermis (the deep, thick layer of skin) is damaged.

When such damage occurs, the body forms new collagen fibers (a naturally occurring protein in the body) in order to mend the damage.  This results in a scar.

When a scar occurs, it will always have a different texture and quality to that of the surrounding skin but it does mean that the wound is completely healed.

Scars can be as a result of accidents, injuries, surgeries and even certain skin conditions.

The signs and symptoms of a scar

These include:

  • Soreness
  • Itching or pricking
  • Redness
  • Bumps on the skin
  • Restricted movement of the body

When a scar first develops on lighter skin, it is usually pink or red while over time, this pinkish color fades and the scar becomes slightly darker or lighter than the original color of the skin.

In those with dark skin, scars often appear as dark spots.

And what are keloids?

A keloid scar is an overgrowth of tissue that occurs when too much collagen is produced at the site of a wound.

That scar will just keep on growing - even after the wound itself has healed.

Keloid scars are raised above the skin and can be pink, red, the same colour or darker than surrounding skin.

They are often itchy or painful - and can even restrict movement if they're tight and near a joint.

The signs and symptoms of a keloid scar

A keloid scar may form within months or even years after receiving the injury to your skin.

The signs and symptoms can include:

  • Thick, irregular scarring, typically on the earlobes, shoulders, cheeks or middle chest.
  • Shiny, hairless, lumpy and raised skin.
  • The size of the keloid scar can vary (a) depending on the size of the original injury and (b) when the keloid stops growing.
  • The scar can vary in texture - from soft to firm and rubbery.
  • The scar can vary in color from reddish, brown or purplish.  The color will depend on your skin color.
  • The scar can be itchy and cause discomfort.

What can you do improve the appearance of scars and keloids?

Try to keep your scar covered when you're in the sun for at least a year, wearing a covering of clothing or even applying a dressing.  You could also use a natural sunblock to protect it.

Skin camouflage can be achieved with special creams and powders that you can apply to your skin to cover your scar so it's less noticeable.

Cryotherapy which is a minimally-invasive treatment that freezes skin surface lesions using extremely cold liquid or instruments (cryogen). Cryotherapy, also known as cryosurgery or cryoablation, can be delivered with various cryogens. Liquid nitrogen is the most common and effective cryogen for clinical use.

Laser therapy for scars is a procedure that uses light beams to reduce the appearance of scars, making it less noticeable.  It is not suitable for all types of scars - especially those that are very deep or wide.  It may cause increased pigmentation in those with dark skin tones while a whole series of treatments is usually required to achieve optimal results.

Then there is a natural way with our H-Scars Formula.

Our H-Scars Formula is safe and effective in reducing the appearance of many different scars.

With its cell regenerating and skin nourishing properties, and when used as directed, the Formula will safely and gently reduce the appearance of new and older scars while promoting a healthy skin tone.

H-Scars Formula is applied topically, directly to the scar using a Q-Tip or your finger. This formula is concentrated and has a deep penetrating action.  Therefore only a few drops per application are needed.

And how long will it take for your scars to fade?  The process varies from person to person depending on the severity of the scars.  However, it is important to know that the Formula can be used for fresh wounds which will help to reduce their appearance before they occur.

If you have old scars and the Formula is applied as instructed, results are usually visible after six to eight weeks while treating new scars can speed up the process to some four to eight weeks.  Keeping up with applying the Formula means that results will further improve with time.

 A word of warning

  • a scar is swollen or painful
  • a scar feels warm to the touch
